Saturday, Sunday and Stat Holidays -  9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday  - 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

All materials are to be sorted and dumped as per direction of the Transfer Station Operator.

Report to the Transfer Station Operator before disposing of any items.  No exceptions.
Failure to comply will result in the loss of access/use of the Transfer Station.  Please respect the direction as provided by the RVTV Transfer Station Operator. 

RVTV Transfer Station Rules and Guidelines:
​Please put waste/compost/recycling in the proper bins and designated areas as instructed by the Transfer Station Operator.

Household Bin
  • Tags must be placed on the household garbage bags before being disposed
  • Household Bin is for bagged garbage only
Open Waste Bin
  • No household garbage is permitted to be disposed of in the open waste bin 
Recycle Bins
  • Break down ALL cardboard boxes before placing in the bins.
  • Use only clear or light blue bags for the recycle bins
  • No glass allowed in the bins
Compost Area
  • Report to the Operator for inspection to ensure all items are allowed to be disposed in the compost pile.
Tipping Bins
  • $20.00 per cubic yard (Hand placed in the bins)
  • $30.00 per cubic yard (Dumped into the bins) 
Metal
  • At the discretion of Transfer Station Operator based on size and amount
Clean Wood and Tree Stumps:
  • Free Disposal of One load per day.  The equivalent of one half-ton load of clean wood/stumps per property, is permitted to be disposed at the Transfer Station for no charge.
Additional clean wood and stump loads per day are as follows:
Clean Wood
  • $10.00 per cubic yard
*** Only clean burnable wood and brush will be accepted at the Transfer Station. We do not accept stumps/wood/dirt or any other material from the preparation of new lots/properties.
Tree Stumps
  • $10.00 per cubic yard
*** Stumps will be accepted at the transfer station from the Turtle View ratepayers.  Please remove excess dirt and cut to as short a length as possible. We do not accept stumps from contractors hired to clear any properties.

*** Transfer station users are required to get their own bin for disposing of the waste materials from Construction/Renovation projects.
